Ms. Kahkasha Khan : Born and brought up in Dehradun, completed her education from Dehradun. Did L.L.B in the year 2000, practiced on civil side as Advocate in District Dehradun up to August 2008. After seven years of practice, appeared in Uttarakhand H.J.S. exam of 2008 and secured first place in the exam. Has worked as Additional District Judge in Rudrapur, Haldwani, District Nainital, Head Quarter Nainital, Ranikhet, District Almora. Was appointed as District Judge, Chamoli in the year 2016 and also served as District Judge, Champawat. Besides working in Courts, has worked on different quasi judicial posts as well as with the State Govt. Worked as Additional L.R. with the State Govt. and as Legal Advisor to Hon’ble Governor of Uttarakhand. Has worked as P.O. in State FSAT, Labour Tribunal, Secretary Lokayukta and Transport Tribunal in Dehradun. Assumed charge as Registrar (Vigilance) on 17.05.2024 and became Registrar General on 01.07.2024. First direct HJS recruitee from the State of Uttarakhand, first female Registrar (Vigilance) and first female Registrar General of Hon’ble High Court of Uttarakhand at Nainital.
