Hon'ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Tandon:-Born on 01/07/1946 and belong to the family of Rajrishi Purshotam Dass Tandon. His father is Sri M.P. Tandon, Author of the book “International Law and Public Relations”. His wife is Smt. Shashi Tondan and has three daughters Smt. Roli Kapoor, Smt. Payal Mehrotra and Km. Nidhi Tondan. Enrolled as an Advocate on 28.3.1968. Took training in the chamber of Sri K.C. Agarwal,( Ex. Chief Justice of Rajashthan and Calcutta High Courts ). Designated as Senior Advocate, in the Full Court meeting held on 9.4.2000, which was subsequently notified in the Gazette on 19.8.2000 by the Allahbad High Court. Appointed Additional Advocate General (Misc.Writ) on 5^th September 2003. Looking after the work of Misc. writs in High Court of Uttarakhand and Uttarakhand cases at Allahabad High Court. Took oath as Judge of Uttarakhand High Court on third July 2003 at Nainital. Took oath as Judge of High Court of Uttarakhand on 26/06/2004. His other activities are:

- Elected twice as Vice President of the High Court Bar Association, Allahabad.

- Member Advocate Association, Allahabad.

- Ex Vice President of Uttarakhand Bar Association appointed on the reorganisation day

- Appeared as Senior Advocate in various fresh petitions concerning Civil, Criminal, Constitutional and Rent Control matters at Nainital and Allahabad High Court.

- Treasurer Sapru Law Institute, Allahabad.

- Executive Director of Indian Law Institute

- Arranging Seminars under the auspicious of Vidhi Vichar Gosthi, Nainital for the last 34 years.

- Amongst the cases, which have been transferred to Uttarakhand, maximum cases have been argued and conducted of all natures i.e. Second Appeals, Civil Revisions, Writ Petitions concerning his devotion to the profession for the last 35 years.

- Author of Law Books, i.e. Commentary on Rent Control Act; U.P.Z.A. & L.R.Act; Dowry Prohibition Act.
