Hon'ble Mr. Justice P.C.Verma:- Born on January 12,1951. Did B.Sc. and LL.B. from Lucknow University. Enrolled as an     Advocate  on March 17,1976. Started practice in the Lucknow Bench of the High Court, Allahabad in Civil, Constitutional, Taxation, Labour and Service matters. In the year 1977 he was appointed as Special Counsel of the State of U.P. till March 1981. In March 1981 he was appointed as Brief Holder for the State of U. P. in Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court. On 06.04.1984 he was appointed as Standing Counsel for the State of U.P. in Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court. In 1994 he was appointed as Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State of U.P. in Lucknow Bench of High Court, Allahabad. On 01.03.1996 he was appointed as Chief Standing Counsel for the State of U.P. at Lucknow Bench, Allahabad High Court and continued as such till the elevation as Judge High Court. On 05.02.1999 he was elevated as permanent Judge of High Court Allahabad at Lucknow Bench.

           On 09.11.2000 Justice P.C.Verma became Judge of High Court of Uttarakhand. He also remained Executive Chairman, Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority w.e.f. 20.03.2002 to 30.03.2003.

            He was Acting Chief Justice of High Court of Uttarakhand from 01.04.2003 to 04.08.2003, from 18.12.2003 to 24.07.2004 and for the third time from 08.01.2006 to 13.01.2006. He was also nominated as Executive Chairman of Indian Law Institute Uttarakhand State Unit in the month of Dec. 2005.

           Justice P.C.Verma was also appointed as Executive Chairman, Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority on 01.08.2007.

          Justice P.C.Verma was transferred to High Court of Judicature at Allahabad vide notification no. K. 11017/14/2008-US.II dated 20/01/2009.
